The workshop and discussion-based internal evaluation for the heads of academic departments of Lorestan University was held by the Supervision, Evaluation, and Quality Assurance Group of Lorestan University, taught by Dr. Davoud Mirzaeifar.
According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, this workshop and discussion-based session was held on Sunday, July 2nd, in the Shahid Mirbaharsi Hall of Lorestan University.
In this workshop, Dr. Davoud Mirzaeifar, the head of the Supervision, Evaluation, and Quality Assurance Group of Lorestan University, discussed current topics related to internal evaluation indicators.
Various topics related to this issue, such as how faculty members should strengthen their internal evaluation system of educational and research performance, were discussed in this meeting.
Also, discussions related to comparing evaluations with each other and improving evaluation indicators in accordance with current knowledge and science were discussed in this meeting.
The heads of the academic departments who attended this meeting also expressed their views and proposed solutions for strengthening and improving internal university evaluations.
Some criticisms were also raised regarding the ineffectiveness or inefficiency of some existing methods of evaluating the scientific, educational, and research performance of faculty members in this meeting.
The purpose of holding such workshops is to improve the quality of education through updating the mechanisms and methods of internal university evaluations.
According to the experts of the Supervision, Evaluation, and Quality Assurance Group of Lorestan University, this is the first time in Lorestan University that such a workshop is held with the approach of the participation of the heads of academic departments so that the opinions, views, criticisms, and suggestions of the heads of academic departments are also discussed in the form of discussion-based workshops to improve and make the internal university evaluation system more efficient.
